Jesus Christ Crucifixion Statue – Biblical Passion of Christ Resin Sculpture, 17 Inches

Jesus Christ Crucifixion Statue – The Passion of Christ

A Powerful Depiction of Faith, Sacrifice, and Redemption

This intricately detailed resin sculpture portrays the crucifixion of Jesus Christ, capturing the suffering, sacrifice, and profound significance of one of Christianity's most sacred events.

Standing approximately 17 inches tall, the sculpture features an antique bronze-style finish, a realistically textured wooden-cross design, and a richly decorated pedestal illustrating scenes from the biblical story of Christ's Passion.

A Story Told Through Sculpture

The Crucifixion of Jesus Christ

The figure of Jesus is sculpted with remarkable attention to detail. His body bears numerous wounds and scourge marks, reflecting the suffering described in the Gospel accounts. The crown of thorns, outstretched arms, and draped cloth further emphasize the solemnity of the crucifixion.

Biblical Scenes Around the Pedestal

The multi-sided pedestal features detailed relief sculptures depicting key moments and symbols from the Passion of Christ, including:

• The Last Supper, when Jesus gathered with His disciples.

• Jesus carrying the cross on the way to Calvary.

• Scenes associated with His suffering, death, and resurrection.

• The crown of thorns and other traditional Christian symbols.

Together, these details transform the pedestal into a visual narrative of Christ's sacrifice and the Christian message of redemption.

Historically Inspired Inscriptions

Above the figure of Jesus is a plaque inspired by the inscription placed on the cross, traditionally associated with the words "Jesus of Nazareth, King of the Jews" (John 19:19–20).

The front of the base features the Latin inscription:

“CONSUMMATUM EST”

Meaning “It is finished”, these words refer to Jesus' final declaration recorded in John 19:30.

The inscription is accompanied by a reference to the Gospel of John, connecting the sculpture's design directly to the biblical account.

Antique Bronze-Style Finish

Crafted from resin, the sculpture features a carefully weathered bronze-style finish that highlights the texture of the cross, the anatomical details of Jesus, and the intricate relief work surrounding the pedestal.

Its substantial size and elaborate design make it a striking centrepiece for a home, prayer room, religious collection, or devotional display.
